Hope everyone is enjoying their 4th of July!  Those of you who have to work today, just so you know, I feel your pain too!  In case no one tells you today, thank you for putting time in so others may spend some with their family. :) 

I've been posting pics this past week of some of my family who came to visit me last week.  So I got my family time in early this year for the 4th!

...and Friday is a vacation day for some of you!  :)

Okay so I left ya hangin' yesterday (see yesterday's blog below) when I posted the picture of my great-niece in the hospital right after she was born.  She had SO many wires and machines hooked up to her - - poor thing :(  We were told she had brain damage and it was severe so she would probably never open her eyes on her own let alone breathe or eat.  She had a feeding tube for a while.  My niece Reenie (her Mom) never gave up and she fought the doctors every time they said "she'll probably never..." Well I'm happy to inform you that with many of YOUR prayers (thanks to all who sent email saying they were praying for her!) she DOES have her eyes open, breathe and eat on her own.  It is such progress!  This is why I call Starilyn "Miracle Baby" :)

What a beautiful day it is!  Let's hope for this kind of weather for Summerfest this Saturday!

It was great to spend time with nieces Rachel and Randi!


But they weren't excited ONLY to see their "Aunti Reenie"...they always look forward to spending time with their step-cousin, Jacquelynn too! :)


In fact, they are so close that they HAD to hang out together AND take pics while Jacque's brother Zach played hockey...




Why would they need to go you ask?  Duh!  BOYS!!!


The weird thing with the sideways mouth....something they do for myspace pics I think... (who knows, their teenagers!)  We HAD to do that in the pool too!  (?)


But it's really nice to see that the kids from Jim's and my family like each other! :)


We played the game "Cranium" which is a LOT of fun :)




Zach even joined in when it was time for "Guitar Hero"


It was a nice week with family :)

Other than a few clouds hangin' around...a nice day today! 

It was kind of a lonely day for me....I had family visiting for the last week and this was a totally alone day which was strange after that!   Of course I have pictures to show you :)

First, some pics of sweet lil Bella!  My nephew Lee's daughter.  I got to see her recently and boy is she photogenic!


She loves playing with her cousin- my niece Tanya's son - Jacob


...ALMOST, but not as much as she likes playing with Daddy! :)  You can imagine how happy she was to see him after his return from his second Iraq tour...



So then we came home from Michigan with two of my nieces, Rachel and Randi.  They loved hanging out with my step-daughter Jacquelynn and "Aunt Reenie" (me) and their sister Reenie too!

So I got to celebrate the fourth of July with my family just about a week early! :)
